Outfit post: Tourist attraction
If only I could have every one of my outfit photos taken on a beautiful Indian summer afternoon in a lovely park in Philadelphia, in front of a picturesque fountain … But I guess I’ll just have to settle for this one.
For this little weekend getaway I wanted to wear something flexible (layers), walkable (flat shoes) and city-appropriate (chic).
So I opted for a whole ensemble of neutrals paired with my new favorite leopard-print booties; in turn, they inspired me to choose this particular cardigan for my top layer.
The soft cargo pants are both cute and entirely utilitarian; at various points during they day the pockets held my phone, map and Independence Hall timed entry tour tickets.
Because the T-shirt was scoop-necked I thought I needed a necklace, so I put on one of my favorites, a short handmade one of jet black beads.
If I’d known it was going to be as warm as it wound up being this sunny Saturday, though, I might have retrieved my now-put-away cropped khakis!
